Your First Visit

What to Expect

Here is exactly what your first visit looks like — no surprises, no pressure, just clarity.

Step 1: One-on-One Intake

Step 1 is all about getting to know you and your family. Before you arrive, we send customized intake forms you can complete online so we can start identifying where stress may be affecting the nervous system. Then you will sit down one on one with one of our doctors to dive into your story, your symptoms, and the goals that matter most.

We go the extra mile to understand where those patterns may really be coming from so we can recommend care that fits your situation instead of forcing you into a generic plan.

Step 2: Insight Scans

Next come the Insight Scans. We perform three non-invasive neurological scans to assess how much stress the autonomic nervous system is under and where your body may be struggling to adapt.

These scans help create a clearer blueprint of the nervous system, giving us objective information about where neurological stress may be interfering with function.

Step 3: The Care Plan

Once we have your history and scans, one of our doctors sits down with you knee to knee and walks through the roadmap to your or your child’s goals. We explain what the scans show, how that stress may be connected to the symptoms you are noticing, and what neurological chiropractic care may look like in practical terms.

You will have space to ask questions, understand the science in plain language, and leave with a clear sense of the next step.

Step 4: The Adjustment

This is where care begins. Using a gentle, specific touch, one of our doctors works to reduce interference in the nervous system and help your body move toward better function.

For infants, kids, and adults alike, the approach is adapted to the person in front of us so the experience stays calm, clear, and tailored to your goals.

Each part of the process is designed to help you understand what we are seeing, why it matters, and what comes next.

What new patients usually ask

A little clarity before the first appointment tends to make the whole experience easier.

Do I need to bring anything to the first visit?

If we send intake paperwork ahead of time, completing that first is the main thing. Otherwise, just bring any relevant imaging or reports if you have them and we will guide the rest.

Will my child be adjusted on the first visit?

If the assessment supports it and care is appropriate, often yes. But we always explain what we recommend first, answer your questions, and keep the approach gentle.

Do I need to be nervous if I have never been to a chiropractor?

No. Many of the families we see are brand new to chiropractic. We explain everything in plain language and move at a pace that feels comfortable and understandable.
